IXION

Announced at E3 2021 with a cinematic trailer, Bulwark Studios’ IXION has received its first proper gameplay teaser trailer. It showcases the interior of Tiqqun space station, which the player must manage, and its various facilities. Check it out below.

There’s quite a lot going on when it comes to managing the station. Not only do you have to gather resources and keep everything running in tip-top shape, but hull integrity must also be sustained along with power management. There are six sectors in total and various crewmates can be assigned to different jobs (if they don’t mutiny against you first).

IXION promises a number of different space maps to explore and players can send out expeditions to discover resources and survivors. It’s an intriguing mix of management, city-building and survival with a story attached, and is slated to release in 2022 for PC. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the meantime.
