It looks pretty pretty.

Journey developer thatgamecompany’s new game will be called Sky– and at least at launch, it will be exclusive to iOS platforms. The game got a grand reveal during Apple’s iPhone keynote event back in September, but we haven’t seen or heard much of it since. Thankfully, today, via  IGN First, we got to see six minutes of gameplay footage for the title.

The new game is supposed to be a ‘global social adventure’, and seems to retain the same penchant for artistic graphics, and unusual multiplayer, that made Journey so beloved among players back in 2012. The game looks well optimized for mobile devices, and it looks like it will be centered aroun the kind of control finesse touch screens can provide (not much)- so it won’t have the control issues games made with a console development mindset often suffer from.

Sky is due out on iOS and Apple TV. Right now, we don’t have a release date.
