Just Cause 4’s Explosive New Trailer Is All About The Antagonist

Avalanche's upcoming open world title is looking suitably explosive.

From its explosive new weather system to its huge open world environmentJust Cause 4 looks like it’s checking all the boxes that fans of the series would have expected it to. In a new trailer released by Square Enix for the upcoming open world title, a lot of that has been reinforced.

The trailer is full of carnage and chaos, typical of a Just Cause experience, showcasing the action from all perspectives (somebody please do an explosion count). It’s centrepiece, though, is Gabriela Morales, who serves as the game’s primary antagonist, as the leader of the Black Hand. Her presence looms over the entire trailer with a pretty cool (albeit somewhat cliche) monologue that talks about the good old “protagonist and antagonist are two sides of the same coin”. Take a look below.

Recently, nearly twenty minutes of gameplay footage from the game were released- make sure to take a look over hereJust Cause 4 launches on December 4 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
