Tripwire Interactive’s Killing Floor 3 received new gameplay at the PC Gaming Show. Those familiar with the franchise know what to expect – hordes of Zeds, all keen on getting to the players and ripping them apart. Fortunately, plenty of new weapons and tools are available to even the odds.

In a brief interview, the development team discussed some of the sequel’s changes and improvements. Maps have more Zeds present at once, and they’re also more challenging, with new traversal methods (like crawling on the walls) and attacks. Players can also shoot off limbs. Bullet holes remain on target, and flesh scorches realistically.

However, some Zeds can continue fighting without their limbs. Destroying their critical spot is key, though you may need to expose it before landing the final shot.

Killing Floor 3 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC in early 2025, with The Embracer Group targeting a launch by March 31st, 2025.
