Killzone Shadow Fall (6)

Sony and Guerrilla Games have taken the covers off of their upcoming, highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive first person shooter, Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer mode, and told us a bit more about it. A lot of it appears to be hugely satisfying (although an equal lot of it is also expected).

These details include the confirmation that yes, mechanics in the multiplayer mode will be mostly the same ones found in the single player campaign, including the snap wall slide/cover mechanic. They also confirm custom warzones, including four new mission modes to mix them up a little, 22 different weapons (all unlocked from the beginning), 19 different weapon attachments (which need to be unlocked by meeting specific challenges and objectives), three distinct classes, and twelve unique abilities for the game.

All in all, whereas the multiplayer mode won’t take anyone by surprise because of how ambitious it is, it certainly sounds like a well done FPS multiplayer mode. Of course, this isn’t the complete lowdown on Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer, and there’s more news incoming, so stay tuned.
