Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer continues to expand as Guerrilla Games announced the next add-on, titled the Insurgent Pack, for release this April.

The Insurgent Pack includes a new class called the Insurgent, which can hack automata to fight for him and use Steal to pick up enemy weapons from dead enemies. The interesting part is that you can use these weapons again, if you die in combat. There will also be three new abilities for the Scout, Support and Assault classes, such as the Guard Drone and Tactical Echo emitter. New weapons include the M82 assault rifle from Killzone 2 and 3, the L512 SMG pistol and the Sta14 Rifle.

Despite the multiplayer focus, single-player also sees a significant addition with the Elite Mode, which sets the game on hard and gives you only three lives to beat the campaign. The usual set of collectible crates are included for the online experience, with said crates spawning only for Insurgent Pack owners. If you collect one, you’ll earn extra points in the game and ultimately build up to some better rewards.

The Insurgent Pack will will be available on the PlayStation Store for €9.99 and will also be a part of the DLC Season Pass. Stay tuned for more details.
