Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will now launch on February 11th, 2025 instead of this year. This follows retailers like Best Buy and Walmart recently listing the same date.
In a recent video on Twitter, PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed that the studio aimed for the end of this year and “almost made it.” Though it’s slipped to next year, the developer has a lot planned for the coming months, starting with a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20th.
Written previews from press members and content creators will follow on August 21st. Warhorse will also release a 25-minute gameplay trailer with “almost no cuts” on the same day, providing an extensive look at how the open-world medieval RPG plays. Stolz-Zwilling also showcased the massive Collector’s Edition box, with a full reveal coming at Gamescom. Attendees can also go hands-on at the trade fair with a playable demo.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is in development for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. As the follow-up to the 2018 title, it follows Sir Henry as he continues his quest for vengeance. Check out the last revealed trailer here. You can also learn more about the game’s increased scale here.
