As with Final Fantasy XV, the other big Square Enix title announced yesterday at the Sony conference is also not a Playstation 4 exclusive. No, it has been announced that the long awaited third entry in the much loved Disney/Square Enix RPG crossover will also be releasing on the Xbox One.
During the announcement, John Pleasants, CEO and co-founder of Disney Interactive, took to the stage to say the game would be the most action-packed Kingdom Hearts game yet. The game will feature a mature Sora on new adventures with Mickey, Donald and Goofy. He promised that Sora will travel to all-new Disney-themed worlds previously unseen in the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
The game is being developed by the developers of the Playstation Portable hit, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix. The game is, according to the developers, being developed on both Xbox One and PS4 to ensure as wide of an audience for this game as possible.
No Wii U announcement has been made yet.
