Kingdom Hearts 3 finally returned at Square Enix’s E3 conference. The footage revealed the current state of development and talks about the Keyblade War from the outset. Platforming and battle gameplay in some fairly breath-taking worlds, filled with new enemies were showcased in the trailer.

The worlds themselves are very large and Sora battles bosses that would put earlier Kingdom Hearts bosses to shame. Drive Forms seem to make a return as Sora changes costumes and the new weapon transformations are also showcased for the first time. The Heartless still seem to be alive and kicking, and interestingly enough, there are some attacks which draw from Disney films like Hercules, Beauty and the Beast and much more.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is in development for the Xbox One and PS4. What are your thoughts on the latest gameplay footage? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
