Kingdom Hearts Memory of Melody

Earlier this year, Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that two more Kingdom Hearts titles were in the works. The first was Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road for mobiles. The second is a rhythmic action title called Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, which has received its first trailer. Check it out below.

Featuring a number of playable characters from the series, there are over 140 songs to enjoy. Music is compiled from Disney franchises, Kingdom Hearts and “more”. It’s unconfirmed whether there are 140 songs to play through as individual levels but you will have Disney characters jumping in and helping out.

Interestingly enough, online play is also supported with up to four players taking part. Will there be a story to play through? How does it tie into the main Kingdom Hearts continuity (especially with all the scenes featuring Kairi from Kingdom Hearts 3? Kingdom Hearts: Memory of Melody is slated to release this year for Xbox One, PS4 and PC so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
