KojiPro hiring for the next MGS game

Posted By | On 22nd, Feb. 2012

So we know Hideo Kojima is working on a new Metal Gear Solid game which also has a codename, Project Ogre. Out of the blue, we finally have “solid” confirmation that they are hiring for more people to work on this project.

The image on the Konami website says, “Bigboss wants you!” Yes, this is also another indicator that Bigboss will be in this game. They have also released a new artwork which looks pretty cool.

It’s a known fact that KojiPro is developing a new multiplatform engine called “FOX engine”, and this job listing confirms that the game will be released for the PC, and the “next-gen consoles”. They will also be at GDC this year to snoop out new candidates for the project.

Earlier we reported some news about project Ogre, especially which Kojima tweeted. It shows some screenshots from the engine and the game was also rumoured to be an open world game. That’s all he does nowadays anyway.

We don’t have accurate info about the release date, but it is reported to come out in 2014.

Meanwhile check out the artwork that was revealed today:
