When it announced the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Capcom promised some fresh content. A new trailer is now available, revealing Otherworldly Venture, a new high-score attack mode. Check it out below.

Set in the realm beyond the Torii Gates, Otherworldly Venture unleashes a constant torrent of Seethe, pushing players to survive. A day/night cycle is still present, but in a streamlined form, and over time, you can choose different rewards like more Crystals, additional Villagers, and more, adding a rogue-like flavor.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will launch on June 5th for Switch 2 with Otherworldly Venture included. However, it’s also coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC as a free update on the same day.

Check out our review for more details on the Kunitsu-Gami – we gave it an eight out of ten, praising the level design, bosses, and variety of activities. It surpassed 500,000 players within the first few weeks, failing to meet the publisher’s sales targets.
