Lies of P

With its promise of a Soulslike action RPG experience inspired by Pinocchio and set in a gothic Bloodborne-inspired city, Neowiz’s upcoming game Lies of P is one that many have had their eye on since its announcement. The little we’ve seen of it so far has looked visually impressive in several ways, and speaking in a recent interview with GamingBolt, the game’s developers provided more details on its frame rate and resolution targets.

On PS5 and Xbox Series X, Lies of P will feature a Quality Mode and a Performance Mode. While Performance Mode will see the game running at 1440p and 60 FPS, Quality Mode is currently offering native 4K visuals at 30 FPS gameplay, though the developers say they are “working towards the goal of” native 4K and 60 FPS in Quality Mode. There’s no word yet on what to expect from the Xbox Series S version.

Lies of P is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but the game doesn’t yet have a release date. Our full interview with its developers will be live soon, so stay tuned for that.
