Square Enix has been showing a great deal more of the upcoming Life is Strange: True Colors as we edge closer to its September launch. We recently saw a meaty gameplay trailer, in addition to the first fifteen minutes of the game. Now, at the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2021, we got another trailer showing more new footage.
This trailer focuses on a particular story moment from the game’s second chapter, as Alex uses her powers to help a woman in need. We get a nice, brief look at how her powers will function in gameplay. Of course, there’s also some interesting narrative stuff to parse out here, and it sets up the game’s tone rather well. Check it out below.
Life is Strange: True Colors will launch on September 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. The game’s Wavelengths DLC will come later in the month. A Nintendo Switch version of the game was recently delayed, but Deck Nine says it is still going to release by the end of 2021, so at least it won’t be a very long wait.
