Ryu ga Gotoku Studio and Sega released a new gameplay trailer earlier today for the recently announced Like a Dragon: Ishin!, the remake of Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin! While it quickly outlined the different Styles, abilities, and side activities, more extensive gameplay is available via IGN and GameSpot. Check it out below.

The footage also provides a better look at Kyoto. Like the rest of the game, it looks very good, thanks to the revamped Unreal Engine 4 visuals. Along with different mini-games and characters to bond with, Sakamoto Ryoma also gets into his fair share of fights. Using abilities like Essence of the Void for lethal palm strikes helps even the odds.

Story scenes with the Shinsengumi are also showcased, and they’re about as relaxed as one could expect when Seppuku comes up. Like a Dragon: Ishin! is out on February 21st, 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months.
