Lords of the Fallen

CI Games and Hexworks have released a new overview trailer for Lords of the Fallen, the follow-up to the 2014 Souls-like action RPG. It details every aspect of the sequel before its launch in the coming weeks, so check it out below.

Set 1000 years later, the story sees players joining the Dark Crusaders to prevent the return of Adyr, the demon god. There are five corrupted beacons, and it’s your job to purify them. Along the way, you’ll encounter different characters, some that become companions or summon other players for co-op action.

There are nine starting classes, though more are unlocked based on your decisions. Three schools of magic are also available to choose from, and you’ll use the Umbral Lamp to venture between Axiom, the Land of the Living, and Umbral, the Land of the Dead. Terrifying forces await in the latter, but awakening there provides a second chance to fight back.

Lords of the Fallen releases on October 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Head here for more details on what to expect.
