Marvel Rivals - Fantastic Four

After a leaked image of the same recently emerged, NetEase Games has confirmed that the Fantastic Four will join the Marvel Rivals roster. Their first trailer arrives on January 6th, 8 AM PST.

With the image showcasing The Thing, Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman, the question arises: Are all four playable? If so, will they arrive all at once or interspersed throughout Season 1 (which begins this month)? What role does their robot H.E.R.B.I.E. play?

There’s also the matter of the environment: New York City during a Blood Moon, where dozens of bats (potentially vampires) roam the skies. This may be the next map that players will battle it out in. Unlike Season 0: Dooms’ Rise, Season 1 will last three months and include a full Luxury Battle Pass for $9.99. Stay tuned for more details when it goes live, including potential balance changes.

Marvel Rivals is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review here. It’s crossed 20 million players since launching last month.
