After a brief teaser yesterday, NetEase Games has released the official gameplay trailer for Psylocke in Marvel Rivals. This isn’t your typical Earth-616 Psylocke but Sai, a ronin from Peach Momoko’s Demon Days: X-Men. She’s a Duelist, which means getting up close and personal to dispatch enemies.
Her psychic abilities help in that regard, allowing her to dash (which helps while traversing rooftops). She can also go invisible, while her ultimate involves attacking all enemies in a vicinity with slashes. Interestingly, Momoko helped co-create her design, while Alpha Takahashi, who played Hanako Arasaka in Cyberpunk 2077, voices her.
If that weren’t enough, the trailer also teases the next potential reveal – Moon Knight. Though not outwardly confirmed, a figure is seen flying past the moon at night (and it’s probably not Batman).
Marvel Rivals launches on December 6th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with 25 playable characters at launch. Stay tuned for more details and reveals in the coming months.
