Marvel Rivals - Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda

With NetEase’s Marvel Rivals launching with eight maps next month, the development team has unveiled a new one – the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda. Much like Earth-616, Vibranium is at the center of the civilization’s rise; however, this alternate timeline seemingly involves the source in space. Check it out below.

The map is an elegant mix of Wakandan aesthetics and iconic Black Panther statues. Long halls and beautiful gardens with open spaces make it ideal for modes like Convergence. A tease at the end seems to indicate a potential fire-based hero like the Human Torch, who was leaked several months prior.

Marvel Rivals is out on December 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It will feature 33 heroes, with several still to be revealed. All present and future heroes will be free to unlock with the first post-launch season kicking off in January 2025. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
