The countdown to Marvel Rivals’ launch continues with NetEase Games releasing trailers for its remaining playable heroes. Squirrel Girl had her chance to shine, and now it’s the turn of Iron Fist, who is also a Duelist. However, it’s not Danny Rand but his successor, Lin Lie, who’s donned the mantle.
Iron Fist likes to get up close and personal with opponents, executing melee combos on the ground and mid-air (which grant shields on each hit). He can also activate a special attack to unleash a barrage of strikes to knock enemies back, execute a flying kick to dash forward, and even regenerate health by meditating.
His Ultimate activates a ten-second stance for continuous multi-hits while recovering health and generating shields on kills. Though you’ll need to close the distance for maximum effect, it can be brutal against teams bunched together.
There are three more characters to showcase – Black Widow, Cloak and Dagger, and Wolverine – before Marvel Rivals launches on December 6th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Stay tuned for more details, and check out our feature to catch up on the hero shooter.
