Team Ninja’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on July 19th. The release date was confirmed by the official Nintendo UK Twitter. Though it’s a follow-up to Activision’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance series, the action RPG will be published by Nintendo.
Much like Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order sees the various Marvel heroes teaming up to find the Infinity Stones before Thanos and his Black Order. There’s no word on whether half the universe’s population will be cut in half with a single snap of the fingers, but it’s certainly possible. Featured heroes include The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and even the X-Men.
Thanos won’t be the only threat. Ultron, Sandman, Ronan the Accuser, and even Nebula will be featured. With the previous games in the series being delisted on platforms like the PlayStation Network due to licenses running out, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order could fill the void when it releases this Summer.
