Square Enix have confirmed via a press release that the next War Table livestream for Marvel’s Avengers will be going live shortly before the game’s launch in early September. The livestream will be broadcast on September 1 at 10 AM PT, and the focus will primarily be on post-launch content

For starters, and perhaps most notably, another new post-launch playable Avenger will be revealed. So far, Hawkeye has been confirmed as the first Avenger to be added to the game following its launch, while Spider-Man will also be coming to the game for PlayStation players in 2021. Recently, datamining of the demo has potentially spilled the beans on a slew of unannounced characters– any one of these could be announced next Tuesday.

On top of that, the War Table livestream will also feature an in-depth look at the first post-launch story season of the game, with promises of reveals of “some of the game’s extensive slate of additional heroes, villains, missions, regions, and gameplay modes.” Square Enix have promised “powerful” post-launch support for the game, so expectations will be high.

Other than that, you can expect some deep dives into the gameplay as well, with the progression system seemingly being highlighted, as well as “hints and tips for taking on the game’s more than 50 different types of enemies”, and more details on “Marvel’s Avengers‘ high-level content.”

Marvel’s Avengers launches not long after the War Table livestream, on September 4 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. It will also be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X later in the year. Check out the game’s launch trailer through here.
