In a month packed with big releases, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has managed to make an impressive case for itself. Thus far, we’ve seen the likes of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer and more in action. Even Cosmo the Spacedog makes an appearance. However, the official Twitter has confirmed that Adam Warlock is also joining the fray.
Beyond a simple tease, there isn’t much information go by or even a proper reveal for Warlock’s appearance. Still, it should be interesting to see what role he plays, especially since a follow-up tweet indicated that he’s a “key character” in the game’s story. Warlock helped the Guardians throughout many adventures in the comics (like Annihilation: Conquest), possessing immortality, flight, cosmic energy manipulation, and superhuman attributes.
