Marvel's Midnight Suns

Marvel’s Midnight Suns launches tomorrow, and while it’s not like Firaxis’ XCOM series, there are a lot of different mechanics to walk through. A new Ultimate Beginner’s Guide is available for the game’s combat, going over an entire mission step-by-step and outlining everything players should know to get started.

Each hero has cards, passives, and unique Heroic abilities. In addition, players can move around the immediate area and knock enemies into environmental hazards or each other for free damage. Generating Heroism allows for using more powerful abilities, but you need to save them for the right time.

You can only have three heroes in each mission, and there are often different objectives to accomplish. Choosing the right team members and complementing their abilities is the key to success. Of course, upgrading cards, bonding for improved passives, and so on will also help.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review for more details.
