Every major character in Mass Effect has their own unique quirks and traits- that’s what makes the stand out and feel like real people, after all. A few of these quirks, however, we could do without. For instance, Ashley’s poetry? Sure, it’s an endearing trait on paper, and it can feel like an important part of her at times, but when she suddenly starts reciting poetry out of nowhere, it just feels… weird. Out of place. Thankfully, in some of those situations, the game does let you respond with suitably confused (and often quite mean) responses, so there’s that.
