KAI LENG (MASS EFFECT 3)

The entire Mass Effect fanbase is united in its hatred for Kai Leng. A Cerbrus operative who constantly messes up every instrumental thing Shepard needs to accomplish, and even ends up killing people dear to him- of course he’s going to be hated. But it goes deeper than that. Kai Leng is, unfortunately, just not a great character. His entire personality is one-note and generically evil, there’s no backstory to him (in the games, though he does get some in some books), and he just pops up out of nowhere. When he finally dies, it’s not just satisfying because a major antagonist dies, but also because we no longer have to tolerate his existence.
