Mining/Scanning Planets
A major gripe with many gamers was mining and scanning of planets throughout the series. Not only was it slow and tedious, it was almost forced. To get certain minerals or ores, it was imperative to scan and mine many, many planets throughout the galaxy. The worst part is that mining could take hours out of the whole game. Mining in Andromeda could be a lot more fun if it’s done right. Instead of forcing on the player to mine, let them decide, first off. Quite possibly turn it into an RTS (real-time strategy) style experience where we send in small teams to mine for us. Then later on they return the ore to us; building up a small faction and paying them a certain percent of their findings.
