Mass Effect Andromeda Coming to EA Access

Dead Space 3, and early access trials for some of the most anticipated games of the season, will also be available.

Mass Effect Andromeda was a good, if flawed game- but the word of mouth around it grew so toxic and out of hand that there were many players who refused to play it. As a result, the game has gone on firesale price level discounts multiple times since launch- however, for many, it was not enough to pick up the game and try it out on its own merits.

Hopefully, getting it for free might be- EA has confirmed that Mass Effect Andromeda will be coming to EA Access (and its PC counterpart service Origin Access), meaning that as long as you are subscribed to the service- which, at $30 a year, you have no reason not to be as long as you have a machine it supports- then you can try the game out for free, for yourself, and hopefully give it a go separate from all the baggage that it carries.

Apart from Mass Effect Andromeda, you can also pick up Dead Space 3 on EA Origin on Xbox One; early access trials for Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Need for Speed Payback on Xbox One, will also be available. So yes, this is a good haul all around.
