Though its early access is now unavailable to purchase, Media Molecule’s Dreams will be launching for PS4 soon. Sony recently announced that the game creation toolset would be available on February 14th 2020, retailing for $29.99. Check out the latest trailer for the game below.

The trailer showcases the sheer range of games that players have created in Dreams. 2D and 3D platformers, racing games (including a shockingly good Wipeout clone) and third person exploration titles were all showcased. It will be interesting to see how much the selection expands en route to launch.

Currently, Dreams has “roughly” 100,000 players on PS4. Even if it takes time to pick up though, Media Molecule has stated that support for the game could continue into the PlayStation 5 era. Sony has also talked about having a ten year vision of the game so some kind of PS5 integration seems a given. In the meantime though, stay tuned for more details on the PS4 version’s launch in the coming months.
