Metal Eden

Ruiner developer Reikon Games’ next title, Metal Eden, launches in the coming weeks, and a new gameplay trailer recently debuted at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. However, interested players can try it out early, courtesy of an upcoming free demo.

Launching on April 8th, the demo encompasses Mission 0 and 1 of the main game. The former is about learning the mechanics and android protagonist ASKA’s mission (as well as revealing her reprintable nature). Mission 1 introduces Body Modules and Weapon Upgrades, essential for players to survive the coming encounters. Though the initial fights aren’t too crazy, they will increase in intensity, encouraging different strategies to emerge victorious.

The demo will remain available even after the game’s launch on May 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. In the meantime, check out some more extensive gameplay here or the trailer below for a peak at the Gatling Gun, touted as ASKA’s strongest weapon (and one of eight total options).
