Konami has released sales figures for its flagship franchises as of March 2026, and the Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill franchises stand out thanks to the successful releases of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill f.
The remake of Naked Snake’s rise to infamy as Big Boss was very well received, and you probably remember us giving it a perfect score in our review. It ticked all of the right boxes for the Metal Gear fans in us, and did a great job of being a fresh take on a familiar adventure. We’ve got more remasters on the way this year, and Konami could be looking to build on the staggering 66.1 million sales that the franchise has brought over its lifetime.
Meanwhile, Silent Hill f has allowed the franchise to grow to 17.1 million, a more modest number in comparison with Metal Gear but no less significant, considering that the game left us quite impressed. There’s Townfall to look forward to later this year for PS5 and PC, and it’s quite the doozy that’s been on our minds ever since its reveal.
All in all, Konami should be quite pleased with its performance over the past quarter and should look to sustain that momentum as it prepares more news about both franchises.
