Metal Gear Solid 4 was a game that just kept on delivering one major surprise after another, and it kept on doing that right until the end, when it was revealed that Big Boss was still alive. His meeting with Snake in the graveyard is one that no fan of the series is likely to ever forget. Big Boss’ final salute to The Boss, his conversation with Solid Snake, the revelations about Major Zero- there was just so much to unpack in that scene, and it was all delivered so excellently, in the backdrop of a moment where Solid Snake was at his lowest, and was ready to end his own life.
