THE BOSS’ HORSE
Much of Peace Walker is about Naked Snake coming to terms with the death of the Boss, and as such, the game is full of scenes that bring up her memory again and again. In one scene, when the Boss’ horse gets grievously injured, Snake is left with no option but to euthanise it, a moment that is framed in a way that is eerily similar to when Snake has to deliver the final killing blow to the Boss herself in that field of flowers.
