If the already gorgeous PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was not good enough for your taste, then as always, modders have come to the rescue for you. A new mod for the PC version has been released, and it will let you play beyond even the highest settings the game runs on.

Obviously, the mod is unofficial, and therefore unsanctioned by Konami, so you have to be careful when running it, and only run it when you have an exceptionally powerful rig. It adds Increased shadow resolution on Extra High, and makes it so extreme settings should be mostly playable at 60fps for powerful PCs. It also implements FXAA across the game evenly. You can download the mod here.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain launched on September 1 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. It is the end to the current Metal Gear cycle, and brings the story of the series full circle. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
