If you thought the insane trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5 last year was hard to stomach, then the next trailer for The Phantom Pain will be even more difficult to witness according to director Hideo Kojima.

Writing on Twitter (translated by Metal Gear Informer), Kojima said he had, “Finished the mix. Like last year, this trailer contains no explosions, collapses, destruction, gunfights, car chases or people mobbed by reporters. Nor any zombies, aliens or giant spaceships. Just men descending into madness. A lot of fans said the 2013 GDC trailer was tough to watch. This one may be even tougher.”

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is currently expected to receive a new trailer at E3 2014. It currently has no release date but it is rumoured to be out in early 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3. Thoughts on a more gruesome trailer this year as compared to last year?
