Metal Gear Solid V PS4

Following hot on the heels of the fantastic news that is the official release date announcement of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and the great special edition that goes with it, Bionic Arm Replica and all, Sony have announced and revealed the Special Edition Metal Gear Solid V PS4 and Dualshock controller for the Japanese market.

Coloured a lovely, somewhat muted, hue of red, this Special Edition is shaded the same colour as Snake’s Bionic Arm on top and PS4 black on the bottom. The Dualshock, thought to be coloured in keeping with Snake’s gun, features a Diamond Dog logo on the right grip.

Some Metal Gear Solid fans may find themselves disappointed though, at the time of writing this special edition piece of art has not been given any news regarding its availability in the western market. Hopefully it’s not ran in a hyper limited print as this is a console that many gamers would like to own. In the picture above, you can see it standing, but the stand won’t be included in the package. It’s a little detail, but important nonetheless.
