Konami continues to market Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the long-awaited remake of 2004’s Metal Gear Solid 3, in some unique ways. The last gameplay clip featured the Peace Walker Sneaking Suit, which muffles the sound of one’s footsteps, and this time, it’s showcasing the Glasses cosmetic.

Adding to the scientist get-up (which plays a part in the gameplay at one point), they’re teased to have a “unique marking.” Zoom in close enough, and you can spot the Delta icon on the side of each lens. It’s subtle, but the meaning of Delta, and why Konami opted to name the remake thus, remains unknown.

The Glasses cosmetic is included with the Sneaking DLC Pack, available in the Digital Deluxe Edition alongside other outfits. It also grants 48 hours of early access, allowing fans to play the game sooner.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater otherwise launches on August 28th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s playable at Gamescom from August 20th to 24th and will also appear during the Xbox Gamescom broadcast on August 21st.
