Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, a compilation of the first three titles in the Metal Gear Solid series, is now available. It’s playable on Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Check out the launch trailer below.
Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are the included games, but there’s also lots of bonus content. The Special Missions from the first game are playable, and you can also play Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and Snake’s Revenge.
There’s also bonus content like screenplay books, strategy guides, the Metal Gear Solid digital novel, master books and more. While the second and third games are ports from the HD Collection, the Master Collection targets 1080p/60 FPS on all platforms, except Nintendo Switch, which targets 1080p/30 FPS when docked and 720p/30 FPS in handheld mode.
