Metal Slug Tactics is a turn-based strategy game developed by Lekir Studio and published by Dotemu and SNK.
It adopts a different style of gameplay from previous Metal Slug games, which are known for their side-scrolling run ‘n gun gameplay.
The tactics RPG was previously scheduled to release sometime in 2023, but has been delayed a second time.
Publisher Dotemu says the team needs "a bit more time" on the strategy RPG. It's in development for Nintendo Switch and PC.
