Studio Zero’s Metaphor: ReFantazio will appear at the Summer Game Fest on June 7th at 2 PM PT. However, those craving even more details can tune in for the second official livestream at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET on the same day.
Director Katsura Hashino will be present to provide a “closer look” at the upcoming role-playing game. The last showcase was 30 minutes long, providing extensive information into dungeons, the Followers system and exploration through the world’s environments. Players have the Gauntlet Runner as their base and interact with their party while traveling from one place to the next. However, unlike Persona 5, Hashino’s last title as director, there aren’t any romance options.
Metaphor: ReFantazio launches on October 11th for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out the Collector’s Edition here, which retails for $149.99 and includes a 35th Anniversary Digital History Book and All-Time Best Soundtrack for Atlus alongside other goodies.
