4A Games’ Metro: Exodus was already announced to be open for pre-order and pre-download via the Microsoft Store. Those who pre-order the game will also receive Metro 2033 Redux as a bonus (which also applies to physical pre-orders). However, in a new trailer announcing the same, the developer also announced that a new gameplay trailer would be coming on August 20th. Yes, a trailer announcing another trailer- check it out below.

The trailer dropping one day before Gamescom 2018 isn’t a coincidence. 4A Games have announced earlier that Metro: Exodus would be playable at the trade fair on August 22nd, before heading to PAX West later on August 31st. If you’re attending either event, then it’s a good opportunity to experience the game for yourself.

It’s also worth noting that those who pre-order Metro: Exodus on PS4 will receive a dynamic theme based on the game’s “Winter” artwork. PC and Steam pre-orders will receive the Metro: Exodus soundtrack and digital artbook (not to mention a snazzy metal case). There’s also the Aurora Limited Edition of the game, which has a 32-page art book, the Expansion Pass, the base game, and an exclusive Steelbook.

Those who pre-order this edition, which will be available in limited supply, can also avail of other pre-order bonuses depending on their platform of choice. Metro Exodus is out on February 22nd 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
