While Microsoft’s resurgent lineup of first party studios is headlines by some big-name acquisitions of already established developers, they’ve also set up a completely new studio from scratch. Called The Initiative, whatever it is they’re working on has been kept mostly under wraps so far, but we do know that they’ve been hiring developers to add to their ranks for a while now.

And clearly, they’re not done just yet when it comes to recruitment. It wasn’t too long ago that they put out a new recruitment video, and it seems they’re still looking to add to their numbers. Recently, Drew Murray, who’s design director at The Initiative, put up a tweet, directing people to the career opportunities page for the new studio. What’s interesting is how he worded it, asking people to join him and others at the studio in developing “this crazy ambitious game we’re making over here.”

Of course, it’s going to be a while yet before we hear anything concrete about the studio’s project, or even what kind of game it is, but it’s great to see that they’re working on something they’re quite excited about. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated in case we hear anything new about it.
