Mirror's Edge Catalyst

After finally dating the game at E3 2015, DICE has revealed that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will have a new trailer at this week’s Gamescom. It will also be available to play on the showroom floor for attendees.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst was initially unveiled at E3 2013 but without an official name. It was dubbed Catalyst before this year’s E3 and showcased some of the changes made to the core gameplay including a retelling of Faith’s origins, the introduction of a central protagonist and an open world for players to explore. All we’ve seen till now has been in-engine though so Gamescom will be our first look at gameplay footage.

Said footage can’t come any sooner though since Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is out on February 23rd 2016 in North America and February 26th 2016 in Europe for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the game thus far and are you looking forward to the new trailer? Let us know in the comments.
