Mirror's Edge

Former Need for Speed developer Criterion Games is reportedly getting ready to showcase its new project at E3 2014 as part of EA’s media briefing. That’s not all though – Mirror’s Edge will also be receiving an update.

This is according to Spike TV’s E3 All Access schedule (via GameTrailers): “Live from the Shine Exposition Center, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson reveals Battlefield: Hardline and world premieres nearly a half-dozen new games, including updates on Mirror’s Edge, Dragon Age: Inquisition, a new project from Criterion Games, and much more.”

Criterion was last involved with Need for Speed Rivals when it assisted Ghost Games in development. It has been involved with a new project unrelated to racing games but no new information has provided on the same for a good few months now. What the newest project possibly involve? That remains to be seen.

As for Mirror’s Edge, the next-gen exclusive game was revealed at last year’s expo as a reboot to the original. What new details will arrive this time? Stay tuned on June 9th for more information.
