Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter made big waves (and continues to do so) on consoles and PC when Monster Hunter World shot the franchise to mainstream global success, but Switch owners have been left frothing at the mouth to get their own taste of Capcom’s action RPG franchise as well. Soon, that hunger will be sated, with Monster Hunter Rise due out for Nintendo’s hybrid due out in less than three months, and later on this month, we’ll get to hear more about that.

Taking to Twitter via the official Monster Hunter page in a New Year message, series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose confirmed that Capcom will be sharing brand new information on the upcoming Switch exclusive some time in January. The developer has been sharing new gameplay clips and trailers for the game at a pretty steady drip as is, but a meatier info drop is something that lots of fans have been waiting for.

Monster Hunter Rise will release as a Switch exclusive on March 21. According to leaks, it will be a Switch exclusive for six months, after which it will also launch for PC. A demo will also be coming later this month.
