Monster Hunter Rise

Rounding out the various weapon trees in Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom has released trailers focusing on the Charge Blade and Hunting Horn. The is known for its hybrid play-style and managing Phial charges while the latter is often seen as a support weapon (that can still deal massive damage). Check them both out below.

Of course, each weapon has new abilities. The Charge Blade uses “Morphing Advance” to instantly transition into Axe mode for a quick attack. “Counter Peak Performance” puts the shield up for an incoming attack – when hit, your Phials are filled to the maximum. It’s then possible to unleash a devastating counter.

The Hunting Horn has “Slide Beat” which can push through monster attack for a quick combo. Then there’s “Earthshaker” which places a blade into the ground and uses Ironsilk to send vibrations into the target. This leads to huge damage.

Monster Hunter Rise is slated to release on March 21st 2021 for Nintendo Switch.
