Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak - Lucent Nargacuga

It’s August, which means Capcom’s first major Title Update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is coming this month. The publisher has thus announced a new Digital Event for August 9th at 7 AM PDT, presented by series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and game director Yoshitake Suzuki.

Along with providing a look at Lucent Nargacuga and Seething Bazelgeuse, it will also provide details on other new monsters and content. New mechanics like Anomaly Research and Qurious Crafting have already been confirmed and allow for further upgrading one’s armor using new materials introduced in the update. For a closer look at Lucent Nargacuga and its ninja-like moves, check out the video here.

Two more Title Updates will be coming to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak for free this year in Fall and Winter. Post-launch support continues in 2023 so stay tuned for more details. You can also check out our review for the expansion here.
