Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Monster Hunter fans are used to seeing the series’ games getting significant post-launch updates, originally in the form of G Rank and Ultimate releases and, with Monster Hunter World, with the Iceborne expansion. Monster Hunter Rise will be following in the latter’s footsteps with the looming launch of Sunbreak, and Capcom is continuing to reveal more details on it in the lead-up to its launch.

Recently, for instance, the Japanese company confirmed what the expansion’s size is going to be. Capcom has revealed that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will have a size of 13 GB, so make sure you have enough storage system on your platform of choice. Interestingly, the company hasn’t confirmed what the exact size on the two platforms is going to be, but presumable, it’ll be roughly in that 13 GB range across both. Specific details will likely arrive closer to launch.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will launch simultaneously for Nintendo Switch and PC on June 30. A digital event focused on the expansion is set for May 10, so stay tuned for more details coming from the show.
