Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Capcom has confirmed a date for its next Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event. It will take place on May 10th at 7 AM PDT/3 PM BST with director Yoshitake Suzuki. Along with “exciting reveals”, there will also be new gameplay details and monsters present.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak releases on June 30th for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Taking place in a new region and base in Elgado Outpost, players are tasked with battling the Three Lords – Elder Dragon Malzeno, Lunagaron and Garangolm. Why are they terrorizing the region? It’s your job to find out.

In addition to new Master Rank quests (resulting in deadlier foes), there are also new weapons and armor to craft. Each of the 14 weapon trees also has new Silkbind attacks to employ. Since there isn’t much of a gap between the next digital event and the expansion’s release, perhaps we’ll learn more about monsters coming post-launch. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
