Monster Hunter Rise Worldwide Shipments and Digital Sales Cross 6 Million Units

Monster Hunter Rise

There was hardly ever any doubt that Monster Hunter Rise would sell well, and its sales since launch have been about what you’d have expected. In fact, it’s crossed another milestone. Capcom has confirmed that the game’s worldwide shipments and digital sales have crossed a total of 6 million units. At last count, that figure stood at 5 million units roughly three weeks ago.

Given the legs that Capcom games (especially Monster Hunter) and major Switch exclusives usually exhibit, it’s likely that it will keep this momentum of sales going for some time. Monster Hunter Rise has also been consistently topping Japanese sales charts, performing well in the UK retail charts, and enjoyed a strong debut in the NPD charts.

The game has also received its first major post-launch update, which adds several new monsters, among other things.

Monster Hunter Rise is currently available exclusively on Nintendo Switch, and will be releasing for PC in early 2022.
